Diet Therapy — Food As Medicine
Food as medicine — practical nutrition built around your body.
Practising since 2006 · Dr. Raghav Pujara · Memnagar, Ahmedabad
What it is
In naturopathy, food is the first medicine. Diet therapy means using specific foods, combinations and eating patterns to correct what is actually going wrong — not counting calories, and not a crash diet you abandon in three weeks.
How we practise it
- A close look at what you currently eat, and when
- Correction of eating habits and meal timing, not just food lists
- Alkaline and seasonal food guidance suited to your condition
- Therapeutic fasting where appropriate and safe
- Practical plans built around your household and routine
- Regular review as your body responds
What to expect
We will not hand you an impossible diet chart. The plan is built around what you already eat, adjusting the parts that are genuinely contributing to the problem — so it survives contact with real life.
Not sure if this is right for you?
Book a consultation and we'll give you an honest answer — even if the answer is that something else would suit you better.

Questions about Diet Therapy
Rarely. We adjust what is actually causing trouble and keep the rest. A plan you can follow for months beats a perfect plan you quit in a week.
Generally no. We work with everyday, natural foods. Supplements are suggested only where there is a genuine need.
Therapeutic fasting is safe when properly supervised and matched to your health. We assess first, and never recommend it where it would not suit you.
